Small magical land perched on the roofs of the world or mytes and legend commingle, Nepal might surprise the traveler in many respects. Governed by the various kings of successive monarchs for centuries, its society deeply Hindu and Buddhist still lives much like a cloud. Rocked by the incessant rhythm of Buddhist mantras, bits of flute or sitar, the country constantly donut in this pseudo meditative atmosphere, perched between heaven and earth.
The magic of these places has kept virtually intact the traditional lifestyle of the ancient cities of the Kathmandu Valley. While the country moves toward the whole outside world and modernity, the ancient inhabitants of villages and monumental cities (including classified World Heritage by UNESCO) are still practicing the same rites and customs as their ancestors. The atmosphere in the streets transports the visitor easily out of time!
Among the many Hindu gods and Buddha, Nepalese share each day, among numerous castes and ethnicities, this fabulous area from the tropical lowlands in the south to the heights north of the globe. From the jungles of the Terai to the high snowy peaks, these weather patterns offer an incredible biodiversity territory yet so small!
Buoyed by the atmosphere of myth and legend for thousands of representations of the divine, amid Durbar of ancient cities, intoxicated by his landscapes hanging in the sky, or simply to the wonders of the local cuisine, the visitor has to make discoveries in the country!
